Koffi Olomidé on Innoss’B: “I’m proud of him because he makes himself known on his own”

A native of the city of Goma in North Kivu, in the east of the Democratic Republic of Congo, Innoss’B is one of the youngest successful Congolese artists of the moment.

At only 25 years old, Innoncent Balume, known as “Innoss’B”, is already very high on the list of French-speaking African artists. In his country the Democratic Republic of Congo, the one who calls himself the “Tiger” or “Young leader”, does not go unnoticed by his artistic talent.

Innoss’B launched professionally after winning the first edition of the great national Vodacom Superstars in 2010. His career reached its peak ten years later and became world famous thanks to the remix of his song “Yo pe” with Diamond Platnumz.

After this great success which led Innoss’B as a headliner in several events in Europe and Africa, and recently on an American tour in the United States, he is congratulated by the Congolese rumba maestro who says he is proud of his success.

“I am proud of him because he is making himself known. Innoss’B has become a big star without coming out of someone’s orchestra”, says Koffi Olomidé.

Note that in 2016, Innoss’B collaborated with Koffi Olomidé on the song “elengi”, the clip of which has been available on YouTube since October 2, 2016.
