Through his Peace Caravan, called “Tournée Amani” started three days ago, Vital Kamerhe is ready to face any danger so that the Kivutiens and Kivutiens find this long lost peace.

Following the example of Wednesday, September 14, or as part of this tour, Vital Kamerhe went to the territory of Rutshuru and Lubero, crossing all the Red zones, in which the armed groups operate.

In some Villages, the National President of the Red and White Party, Union for the Congolese Nation (UNC), accompanied by his wife, his children as well as some senior executives of his political formation, was obliged at the request of the population, to get out of her Vehicle in order to commune with her.

Before arriving in Kirumba, in the territory of Lubero, this native of Walungu had again made a stopover at the City of Kanyabayonga, where he first inaugurated a Fountain Terminal with several Taps, a gift from the Secretary General of the ‘UNC, Billy Kambale.

Then, it was to the sound of the brass band, accompanied by the inhabitants of this Village in incalculable number, that he went to the podium which had been installed to allow him to make known to this population the good news of the Peace that he conveys wherever he goes.

Vital Kamerhe says he firmly believes that the definitive return of peace in Grand Kivu is possible thanks to the participation of all the daughters and sons of this territory because many of these groups are filled with indigenous people.

Returning to the same call when he reached Kirumba, Vital Kamerhe said continuing his speech that it was inconceivable that the Congolese would be unable to bring peace to the DRC despite all the resources that this country possesses.

“We must now realize that without peace there is no organization and without these two things there is no development that can arise. So for your city to develop it depends on yourselves. All the wealth of the DRC will be useless without peace”, he declared.

Then addressing the issue of insecurity, which must be eradicated at all costs, the National President of the UNC was very severe towards the Rebels of the M23. To the latter, Vital Kamerhe, demanded them with a firm tone to liberate the City of Bunagana, which they have occupied for a few months.
